One of the challenges Michael enjoyed as Managing Editor of the Mid-County Post was to develop a cover concept on deadline, shoot an engaging photo and layout cover text. For each issue, he researched and wrote at least six articles, often exceeding 6,000 words of content, furthering the publication's core goal of providing in-depth, insightful coverage of news found nowhere else in the region.
