Michael Thomas is a writer and video producer based in Santa Cruz, California. He has shot for TIME Magazine, HBO, MTV, Interscope Records, CBS Sports, and The Discovery Channel. In the spring of 2008, he filmed and produced a 30-minute documentary on the plight of Nepal's one-horned Asian rhino. Michael has contributed to productions for Ralph Lauren, Major League Baseball (MLB), the Natural Resources Defense Council, and Volkswagen. Also an accomplished writer and journalist, Michael was Managing Editor of two Santa Cruz County news publications with 40k+ weekly distribution during a five year period of growth for both titles. He developed compelling storyboards, directed staff and freelance writers, while also writing weekly cover stories. He holds a degree in Anthropology from Pomona College in Claremont, California. In the off moments, Michael restores vintage motorcycles and windsurfs on California's Central Coast. |
